Tuff spot

                     

Kin  explored the soap flakes  in the tuff spot. He picked up a  spoon to get soap flakes and poured some on his hand. 

Role Play Area

                   

Kin was excited to wear Father Christmas' costume and got a bowl.He said, " It is a present." After that, he clapped his hand and said, "Ho!Ho!Ho!"

Construction Area

Kin played soft blocks on the carpet with his friends  and was able to make it tall . He said, "My big boat .I like my boat." He was able make it in different ways.

Mud ktchen

                 

Kin enjoys cooking in the mud kitchen. He likes 'baking' his food in the iven and manipulates the knobs very well. 

KIN ENJOYS HOLIDAYS!!!

Reading Area

   

                    

 Kin and Monica  read book together in the  reading area. He pretended to be the teacher and did some actions whilst he shared the book with Monica. 

Construction Area

Kin played duplo toy with his friends on the carpet and said "I go to school by school bus! Oh! Oh! The bus stopped working! The bus needs more gas!" (VN) He then pretended to put more gasoline in the school bus.

Role play area

                        

Kin pretended to make coffee for us. He shared a cup with me and told me "It' s hot!" in Vietnamese. Kin gave me some cookies and chicken too. 

Mekong Tour on 12-13/Sep.2015

Creative area

Kin enjoyed painting. He used blue paint to make dots on paper. Kin said "Blue!" 

Music

Kin went to the Music area and played with a variety of musical instruments. He enjoyed making sounds with the bells and tapping on the xyllophone.

             

      

Mark Making Area

     

Kin went to the mark making table and scribbled on the board. When asked what he was drawing, he said it's a sun. He held the pen on the top and used a pincer grip . He also used both hands alternately in holding the pen. 

Settling-in

Today, Kin needed an adult support in saying goodbye to his carer. After a short while, he was able to stop crying and go to the soft play room with his friends and teachers. He played alongside Ms Thuy for a while and the he went to the Reading area. Ms Thuy asked him to choose a book and he got some. He made different animal noises when he saw pictures of them. Well done Kin!
