Role play Area

                       

Kin played with his friend at the role area. He asked Kathy "How are you? Are you sick?". Then he pretended to feed Kathy. 

Fundino Playground

Kin had fun in playing with the hoop in the Fundino playground. He held the hoop properly and let go of it with a great force. 

Fine Motor Skills

It was quite tricky for Kin to use the tweezer to pick the pompom and put it in to the bottle. However, after a few tries, he was able to do it and put a few pompoms in it. Well done Kin for trying your best!

Squeezing Gloves

                        

Kin was excited to join in this activity. He used both hands to squeeze the glove and was very happy to see water coming out from it. 

Role-Play Area

 

       

T: "Kin, I think the pig is hungry. What food can we give for the pig?"

Kin answered "Grass!" He then quickly moved the pig closer to the food tray and pretended to feed it.

Reading area

Kin joined in with a small group of children singing ABC and looking at books in the reading area.

Numbers

                                        

Kin was able to say names of numbers from one to ten. He is also able to get the correct number of bears according to the number on the dice. 

Science Day

Kin actively joined in our Science experiment. He helped in pouring vinegar on the baking soda and was very excited to see the bubbles rose up. He said "Bubbles go up and down!"

Fundino playground

 

                      

  Kin spent a long time playing with his friend in the Fundino playground riding the trike around. He then said "I go to Supermarket, buy the food no more food ,ok Kathy!"

Classroom

                

                       

In the classroom .Kin looked at the pictures on the display board and was able to copy all the emotion face pictures .He told me his favourite is the happy face.

In the classroom

                   

Kin sat down nicely on the chair. He held the puncher with his left hand and the right hand to pick up paper flower. He said " It is yellow!" "I like yellow." He then counted the holes he had made, "one, two, three and half ." He was very happy to do it .

Sand pit

                        

Kin found a truck and a wagon and put them together. Then, he pulled them around and made the sound of the train.  " Di chợ", he said.

Circle time - My Favourite Book

During circle time, Kin shared his favorite books to his friends. When Ms Crislet asked him what the title of the book is, Kin was excited to do the actions such as the characters in the front page. Then, he told everyone the titles: "My Daddy", "My Mummy", and "Cock- a Doo- Doo". Ms Crislet asked him to choose one for story time, he said " My Mummy".

LUNAR NEW YEAR'2016!

Creative Area

                     

                                      

Kin went to the creative area by himself and asked his teacher to do activities with him. He sat down on the chair nicely and held the paintbrush using left hand to paint on sparrow bird  picture.After that he got silver glitter to sprinkle on sparrow. He did very well.

Mark- making Area

                      

Kin sat on the floor in the mark-making area.He held the marker using his left hand with a pronated grip. He told me "con vẽ tàu ngầm,con ngồi trong tàu con nhìn thấy rất nhiều fish và snake". 

Next step: To be able to hold pens using a tripod grip. 

Pizza making

Kin joined Ms Grace and some of his friends to make pizza in the classroom. He repeated the names of the ingredients and even tasted some of them such as cheese and pepper.

Next steps: To use the vocabulary he learnt from this activity to the role playing that is currently happening in the classroom.

Outdoor Play

Kin spent some time in the Fundino playground riding the tricycle around and painting on the easel. He got a paintbrush using his left hand, dipped it in yellow paint, painted a picture and said "A bus!"
